A second member of UTair Group has selected Swiss AviationSoftware’s system AMOS. The wholly owned subsidiary of Swiss International Air Lines will provide UTair Engineering with its MRO software solution. AMOS offers a complete suite of engineering requirements to control the maintenance needs of the helicopter industry. Furthermore, due to the amount of OEMs in the market, AMOS supports the operator to manage approval for modification installations on any particular model. As a second member of the Russian group, the rotary wing MRO provider will benefit from the group’s airline, UTair Aviation, that joined the AMOS Community in 2012. “The implementation of AMOScentral may bring further considerable benefits to the two UTair Group members in terms of a closer cooperation on parts availability, data sharing and similar synergies”, says Ronald Schaeuffele, CEO of Swiss-AS. The software will support the MRO activities of UTair Engineering that include helicopter assembly, disassembly, painting, washing, ground run and test flight. The company based in Tyumen, Russia, has already planned the first project steps concerning AMOS.
