Ten Airbus A320neo for Air China

Air China plans to expand its fleet by getting ten Airbus A320neo.

The first Chinese airline Air China will enrich its fleet with ten new Airbus A320neo. The aircraft will come from the lessor BOC Aviation Limited. The ten single-aisle are expected to be delivered during the two year period 2019-2020. These Airbus A320neo are powered by Pratt & Whitney’s PW1100G-JM engines. The Singapore-based lessor underlines: “Air China’s choice of the A320neo aircraft aligns with our focus on investing in the most technologically advanced aircraft models.”

BOC Aviation’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Robert Martin adds: “BOC Aviation is delighted to partner once again with Air China by leasing 10 new A320neo aircraft to assist with the airline’s fleet expansion plans.” An expansion that appears to aim especially Airbus’ aircraft. Indeed, the Chinese airline ordered in mid-July twenty further Airbus A350-900 with the possibility to convert five of them in A350-1000.
