ST Aerospace gets first ACJ maintenance contract

ST Aerospace’s VIP Completion arm, AERIA Luxury Interiors, has secured its first Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ) customer.

AERIA Luxury Interiors (AERIA), the VIP completion arm of ST Aerospace, has secured its first Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ) customer, having been awarded a 12-year maintenance support contract for an A319 ACJ. Under the agreement, AERIA will carry out heavy maintenance work, including interior and auxiliary fuel tank removal/replacement.

AERIA was formerly a division of VT San Antonio Aerospace, which is a subsidiary of ST Engineering. It was officially incorporated as a subsidiary of ST Engineering in October 2017.

The ACJ work will be performed at the company's facility located in San Antonio, Texas, which can accommodate two widebody or three narrowbody aircraft at any one time.

AERIA has performed various maintenance checks for over 20 Boeing aircraft since June 2013. In addition to maintenance services, AERIA offers VIP modification and completion on Boeing and Airbus aircraft and is an approved Boeing Completions Centre.

The company has signed a total of three Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) completion contracts since its creation, the most recent of which was announced at the Singapore Airshow in February.
