Joint training between Australia and the United States

Australia and the U.S. participated to the Talisman Sabre exercise.

The Talisman Sabre exercise ended on July 24. During two weeks, Australia and the United States could train and increase the interoperability of their air forces. In this context, the U.S. Air Force deployed several aircraft in Australia, including F-22 Raptors, E-3C Sentrys, KC-10 Extender and B-52 Stratofortress. For its part, Australia mobilized F/A Hornets and Super Hornets, EA-18G Growlers and E-7A Wedgetails.

This massive exercice also mobilized Australian as well as U.S. terrestrial and maritime defense such as F/A-18Es or EA-18G Growlers of the U.S. Navy.
