Cebu Pacific Air adds A321s to its equipment support contract with AFI KLM E&M

As an extension of the contract, the equipment support operations will be mainly ensured by AFI KLM E&M’s service center of Singapore and Singapore Component Solutions (SCS), a local joint venture between AFI KLM E&M and Sabena Technics.

Seven A321ceo and thirty-two A321neo are incorporated in the equipment support contract signed by Cebu Pacific Air in 2017, which originally covered its more than forty Airbus A320s fleet. The service portfolio included in this long run contract  incorporates repairs in Singapore and within AFI KLM E&M’s global network, as well as the access to a local pool of replacement pieces. This extension of the contract reinforces the position of AFI KLM E&M on the Asian equipment support market, notably represented by its local joint venture with Sabena Technics — Singapore Component Solutions — as well as a large community of clients operating from several hubs in the whole region.

Founded in 1996 and based in Manilla, Cebu Air Inc. (CEB) has a fleet of 72 aircraft provided by Airbus and ATR. With its wholly owned subsidiary Cebgo, CEB operates on a very large network in the Philippines, comprising 37 domestic destinations and connecting some islands of the archipelago to 29 destinations in Asia, Australia, Middle East and the United States — a total of 104 national and international air routes.
