MBDA is selected by Korea Aerospace Industries to integrate its Meteor long-range air-to-air missile into the future South Korean KF-X combat aircraft.
Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) selects MBDA’s Meteor missile to equip the KF-X future multirole fighter aircraft. The contract includes technical support from the MBDA teams such as integration, transfer of know-how and manufacture of test equipment (aeromechanics, separation, integration, etc.). The teams will take part into KAI various test campaigns associating the Meteor and the KF-X. The Meteor missile of MBDA is already integrated in several combat aircraft: Dassault Aviation Rafale, Airbus Typhoon and Saab Gripen.
