First ACJ320neo in production
The Airbus ACJ320neo corporate jet has entered production, with elements taking shape across Europe. Final assembly is slated to get under way in June.
Airbus reports that manufacture of the first ACJ320neo corporate jet has begun, with elements taking shape across Europe. Final assembly is due to begin in June, followed by the first delivery of the “green” aircraft to Farnborough-based Acropolis Aviation in the last quarter of this year. A second ACJ320neo is due to follow by year-end.
Delivery of the first ACJ319neo variant, to K5 Aviation, is scheduled for the second quarter of 2019. Based in Gammelsdorf, Germany, K5 Aviation currently operates a fleet of three ACJ319s, along with two Bombardier Global Express XRS bizjets.
Orders for the ACJ320 Family currently stand at nine aircraft, comprising three ACJ319neos and six ACJ320neos.
Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ) is highlighting the ACJ320neo Family at the upcoming EBACE show in Geneva (29th - 31st May), where it will share a stand with Airbus Corporate Helicopters (ACH). Two of today’s ACJ319s will also be on display at EBACE.
The ACJ319neo can fly eight passengers 6,750nm/12,500km or 15 hours, while the ACJ320neo can transport 25 passengers 6,000nm/11,100km or 13 hours.
