EBACE 2017: Airbus Corporate Jets launches ACJ330neo

Airbus Corporate Jets has added the re-engined A330neo to its product offering, which already includes the neo versions of the ACJ319 and ACJ320.

Airbus Corporate Jets has launched a private jet version of its re-engined A330neo widebody airliner. The ACJ330neo will fly 25 passengers 9,400 nm/17,400 km or 20 hours, enough to fly nonstop from Europe to Australia.

The company already offers neo versions of the ACJ319 and ACJ320, booking a launch order for the latter in May 2015.

The ACJ330neo readily accommodates conference/dining areas, a private office, bedroom, bathroom and guest seating, and can be fully customised to suit customer needs.

The A330neo, on which the ACJ version is based, is scheduled to enter regular airline service in 2018.

A330neo features include new-generation Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, Sharklet wingtips and improved maximum take-off weights, delivering enhanced payload and range. Other new features include the option of an onboard airport navigation system (OANS) and a runway overrun prevention system (ROPS), along with optional dual head-up displays (HUDs).

Airbus reports that over 180 ACJs are currently in service worldwide.
