Dassault Aviation to acquire ExecuJet MRO operations

Dassault Aviation and Luxaviation have announced the acquisition by Dassault Aviation of the worldwide maintenance activities of ExecuJet, a subsidiary of Luxaviation.

Dassault Aviation and Luxaviation have announced the acquisition by Dassault Aviation of the worldwide maintenance activities of ExecuJet, a subsidiary of Luxaviation.

Subject to obtaining the required approvals, the ExecuJet maintenance activities will be integrated into the structure of Dassault Aviation group in a stepwise process over 2019.

Luxaviation Group acquired ExecuJet Group in spring 2015, including its maintenance (MRO) centres, its Fixed Base Operations (FBO) as well as its aircraft management activities. The sale agreement with Dassault Aviation is limited to the maintenance activities of ExecuJet and will allow Dassault Aviation to strengthen its worldwide presence, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region, in Oceania, the Middle-East and Africa.

Luxaviation CEO Patrick Hansen said the move would allow Luxaviation Group to refocus on its core aviation services and to further concentrate on innovation and to invest worldwide into the sector’s development.

Graeme Duckworth, Executive Vice President MRO Services Luxaviation Group, will continue to lead the MRO activities under the new shareholder. ExecuJet provides maintenance support capabilities for a diverse collection of aircraft types in 42 countries throughout the world.
